I take the bible as the literal word of G-d, as well. It does indeed imply the world is flat. However, when a biblical text is interpreted outside of it's historical context, it is often unconsciously interpreted in terms of the reader's own culture, time and beliefs. Skinheads aren't racist. My favorite movie is either braveheart or The Departed. The policies I look for are based on strength. I wan't morality, discipline and tradition reinstated. I want a mostly free market economy where the state and corporate powers merge. I trust Fox News the most but even they are incredibly biased. If I had to pick another country to live in it would be Russia. I like the direction there going in and it's just a cool country in general.
