The Indian government would like to begin researching into nuclear science and begin a nuclear program and has sent a delegation to the US to discuss the possibilities of this.
Pakistan feels that this would upset the balance of power in the region and requests that international countries prevent nuclear research from India. A pact between Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Burma is formed and threatens to stop trade agreements with India.

OOC: Earlier in this thread, an organization called Worldwide Vietnam Observatory was established and many nations in the worlds denounced the war in Vietnam and requested that South Vietnam and NATO end the hostilities. Although I wouldn't consider it accurate, there is also a war between Egypt and Libya. And a mass famine all over Southeast Asia.

The Republic of India will once again give the Kashmiri Nationalist Brotherhood(@Chives ) our ultimatum to renounce claims to Jammu and Kashmir.
