MW2 makes me sad. In many was it was the best CoD and an excellent game, but it had some crippling and inexcusable problems that just made it horrible. When it worked it was glorious and awesome, but you had to go through so much crap that it wasn't worth it. Talking about the multiplayer BTW, the singleplayer is a tacked on POS.

So you admit that you're part of the reason mw2 was ruined then? Really where's the fun in using that set up? And at this point why would IW fix that game, they have another major release out to worry about, and the game is well past it's life cycle.
Not really. Just because i hate one thing doesnt mean I hate the game, I said several times that I love MW2. 1) Again, I dont see the point of people saying " Whoop, you messed this word up! " on the internet. More than often its a typo, but in this case as long as someone can understand what I was trying to say, it should be fine. 2) Yes I was disapointed at Black Ops 2 but I have said this time and time again that just because I hate one game doesnt mean I have to hate the whole SERIES.
Lots of people are just built that way, and while I'm not like that I can sort of faintly see the appeal. Easy to get kills and stomp on people.
Why can't Call of Duty go back to what made their game great? They used to be my favorite series, back when they actually tried to make it semi realistic and playable.
Well they had a almost more than a year to fix their shit. IW didn't give a fuck anymore about their costumers after they bought the game.
CoD4 was great fun and had a much better and more plausible campaign. I hated MW2's art style, campaign, and pretty much all of the maps. I'm not really a fan of twitch shooters to begin with, and though I had some fun with MW2 and Black Ops, it was always because I was playing it with friends. I can't imagine playing it alone and having any fun at all.
Let me make this easier for you. Essentially the overall goal of the CoD mw2 multiplayer was to level up, ie unlocking new guns, perks, etc which is all fine and good. Whats NOT fine is having easy ways to achieve that goal. In CoD you can pick any random gun and start leveling up as you kill dudes. Thats what made the game so addicting, waiting to see what new awesome gun you would get or if you good enough you can call in a helicopter as a reward for your awesome killstreak. Then they fucked it up with shit that allows you to reach those limits, but in much easier ways. I really cant understand why you would not use a heavily op class in mw2 such as the noobtube one. Why would someone want to make their life harder to reach exactly the same goal as someone else who is rapeing shit every match? I use op shit not so I could destroy mw2 as Pedro is trying to paint it, the game was fucked when IW decided to go full retard, but so I could have the full enjoyment of mw2 in a quicker and a much easier way which as I have already said is the progression. Whats really infuriating though, is that the dev's simply do not care. I cant believe some people would agree with the method activision is going for. Hurr hurr make dumbass game then promise fixes in next one. This is inexcusable, not one single fucking patch has ever changed gameplay in CoD for the better. You cant simply say oh they need to focus on the next game. Bullshit they need to focus on the next game, what they need to do is fuck Activision and lose the goddamn 1 year release cycle or else they can keep pulling this shit.
Again this makes no sense. You complain that it is too easy to level up by using over-powered guns... but you use those guns. Also they are not going back to patch an almots 4 year old game. No company does that.
I use those guns because the fun in cod is achieved through progress as I very clearly stated. Its stupid to not use the op guns to achieve the fun in CoD, but thats still bad since the guns should not have been added in the first place. Does not mean I do not get to use them. They never patch ANY of their games. Not mw1, not waw, not mw2, not bo1, not mw3 and probably not bo2. Its inexcusable.
See you can tell in your inflection that the fun in the game isn't achieved through the progress you think it is. I have fun in the game using certain weapons or quirky set ups. You don't have fun using you're op set ups. The game is meant to be fun. You pay $50/year for an xbl subscription and 60 + 15 per map pack for the game. Why would you use a setup that wasn't fun to you? It seems a tremendous waste of money to play the game using only the same weapons / perks, and only to level up. I could give 2 shits about my level/presteige/kdr as long as I'm enjoying myself playing the game. There is plenty of room for that, but it gets ruined when people with your mentality or try hards come into the game . One of the commentators said it best towards the end of blops, it isn't the game "it's that douchebag who sits in the corner with his famas trying to boost his KD" that makes cod unfun. The only thing negative about mw2 was oma t00bers, but in most games you don't fine them, and guess what, most games are fun. It took people almost 6 months to discover the Oma t00b and for those first 6 months the game was fine. It's not a game mechanic, it's douchebags who only play the game to get to the next level as fast as they can, or kill whore. They patched the hell out of both mw2 and 3, blops not so much because it had less issues, but they still nerfed the ak74 and famas at various points. Mw2 had tones of glitches (javelin, care package, getting under maps, elevators, etc) that they eventually patched, just because they didn't change a fundamental game mechanic, which I suspect is easier to talk about fixing post release then it actually is, doesn't mean they didn't patch anything. For the record there have been 15 patches to date in mw3, so you're either just misinformed, or lieing to paint a more negative picture of cod.
Sad the patches didnt fix the game. Also sorry if my way of having fun is not the same as yours. Besides its not like I want to be part of the group the apparently destroyed CoD single-handedly, its just more fun that way.
If I ever play CoD, I will use the most OP shit possible, because winning is fun, and that is the easiest way to win. Using a grenade launcher isn't "nooby" or "abusive" or anything. The game is just broken, and the devs are completely negligent. And kill streak rewards are retarded as well, at least, as they are now. Hurr durr, no need for teamwork in a team game. The whole team is shit, but one guy wins the whole game with a nuke.

I can tell you several times my team has made us lose a match. ( TF2, BF3, GTA 4, TLAD ) Also, alot of games arent patched, even when they are " new. " Dont belive me? Battlefield 3- FAMAS, Mobile AA gun on Wake Island, Screen of Death, Bad connections, Just Cause 2- Do I REALLY need to go into it? GTA 4- Swingset Glitch and parachouts ( shutup, I cant spell ) Skyrim and New Vegas- Tons of numerous glitches
