Sure they don't have to use it for anything other then shipping, but it's still a colossal waste of money.

It is a shipbuilding company again, the Blue Star Line, its purpose is to build ships.

Wrong. Shipbuilder Magazine, which was actually the media of the time, thought of Titanic's compartment design as "practically unsinkable" and many people started to be interested in the ship, but it was called unsinkable somewhat and no the owners never advertised it as unsinkable.

The whole point of a shipping company my friend it to manage ships, so I don't think building what your suppose to build is a waste of money.

Building a ship that people are going to be superstitious of and afraid to go on is a waste of money. If it were me I would build a new and extremely modern ship with that money, not build a historical ship.

You have the means to build an extremely modern ship at home? Can I live with you?

Everything is going to be modern (as far as the actual working parts). It's just gonna look like the titanic.

I still don't understand it. The Titanic is famous for death, even if it is perfectly safe this time why would people want to visit something so morbid?

Everyone I'm going to make a replica of the titanic, its exactly like it except that it has awesome T.Vs and Xbox 360s, oh and laptops in every room, and mini fridges. Because you know the real titanic had all those.

Wow, I need to get some sleep lol.
No, its not just aesthetics. And it takes even more money to make it look like the Titanic but still be modern.

By the way, there is an actual movie called the Titanic II. Guess what? SPOILER: It sinks :p

It would be so ironic if the replica sinks, in the exact same way.

World War 3? It's almost as bad as rebuilding the twin towers.
