It is a double standard, I agree. Unfortunately though, you will be hard pressed to find a leader that hasn't been indirectly responsible for the death of somebody. While it is much easier to find examples of the average person (yes even nationalists and racists) that are not directly or even indirectly responsible for the death of anyone.
