A theory on love.

Has anyone else thought that maybe humans fall in love with certain people because we think about the quality of children that he/she would contribute into producing? Meaning that human subconsciously think about another's genetics before developing feelings for them.

I dont know but it could be possible because of the diversity of people and the fact that their all different. Does it count if two people marry to have a child with both of their talents/abilities for the sake of power?

That's more physical attraction than actual love, I think.

my theory on what causes love is that when 2 people are chemicly attracted to each other they feel the emotion love

Love isn't chemical or physical, its not an emotion either it is a feeling, a nerve, if you will, it is something unexplainable, love does not exist, yet it exists in a mental form. its poetic and shit.

This more or less. Love is something only a sentient could come up with, I don't believe it's a natural occurance.

Love is what makes the world function. On a biological level, sex is what drives the human race and most people have sex with those that they love. It is humanities number one instinct, every single person that has ever lived has one thing in common, and that is that they have loved someone. It is an undeniable fact, whether you realise it or not.

So I was thinking about writing a complex theory about how love is really a combination of instincts driving you to want to have sex and naturally liking someone as a friend or some shit.

But then I remembered that Wikipedia existed:
