    @sirdust, you can't just be fired when your in the military. You have to be discharged. To be dishonorably discharged, which is what this guy will probably get, you have to be courtmartialed, which is putting the guy on trial.

    Also, much of what is done with the military is left up to the military part of the Office of the Executive. And if the President did seem too involved with the military, there would be public outcry as well as a reaction by Congress.

    I don’t see the problem here. If you start calling your boss an asshole behind his back, guess what? You are gunna get fired for it.

    Now that he’s a civilian he can criticize the president all he wants but as a soldier it’s your job to shut up and follow orders. I’d discharge his guy in a heart beat.

    In some countries you would be shot for insulting a police man. And Freedom of speech isnt just what I am talking about. I mean the economy, laws, job statisfaction, health care, enviroment, gas prices, etc. And it has always been like this, one of the biggest reasons we rebeled from England was the taxes, even though we had the lowest taxes in the entire new world! And the only reason it got worse is because of the boston tea party, that money England would have made off that would have been equal to almost half a million dollars. It is only common sense of when a revolution is springing up you would send more armed forces over there!

    Fuck this country. Stalin, you need to help me jump the border to Canada. May be a little hard considering I am in central florida.

    Well, you better start practicing how to jump. Maybe hire some Mehicans to teach you, there are a lot of them in Florida yes? Or you could get some Cubans to teach you how to make a raft of logs and float all the way to Newfoundland. Gotta love racial insults!!!! :D
