Petition for stricter censorship against anti-forum messages

I don't think you guys understand. First, free speech does not apply here, we are an internet forums, nothing binds Stalin to let us have free speech. Second, he doesn't want to censor anything besides threads that call for people to leave the forums and stuff like that, which is very harmful to the forums.

If you believe your politicians and government should grant you free speech and just deal with the sometimes divisive criticism; then it is not really honest to just turn around and disregard free speech when it is inconvenient to you.

Well our politicians don't seem to uphold free speech anymore, and I like free speech. But, our politician don't matter or have ANYTHING to do with these forums. Even in the US, you're allowed to have free speech, but not to the point where you say anything about an insurrection or anything, because that is illegal and classified as terrorism.

That wasn't the point. The point was that it would be dishonest if you, someone who liked free speech, disregarded it when it was inconvenient for you to have to deal with the downsides of free speech.

I'm not disregarding it. I'm telling you, free speech does not apply on this website. Therefore, people can't say have you ever heard of free speech, because free speech is not guaranteed on these forums, and if people were going around Times Square screaming for people to leave the US, we are all doomed, then the police would most certainly find an excuse to lock him up.

And that's a dishonest position to hold.

This isn't about free speech. This is about being able to hold an opinion on something and being able to voice concerns. Removing that would be more than enough to drive anyone with more than two brain cells away from this site.

I seriously doubt Stalin is the kind of person to just close his ears in regards to criticism of the site. I also doubt he would like you asserting he is without his consent in order to legitimize your position.

Right, so the first thing we tell new people is that whenever they say something inconvenient, they'll be silenced without question? Yeah, that'll keep them around.

I was discussing the negative effects of censorship and I brought then fact that more people are against the idea than for. You responded with some "reforms are coming deal with it" nonsense.
Are you going to stick to your position or just continue flip-flopping around?

And you telling people to suck it up or get out wasn't. That's all you've done since your promotion, tell people to leave when the bring up an issue.

Once again, you guys don't fucking get the point!!! The ONLY posts/threads that would be censored would be ones that directly say something in the vein of "Leave these fucking forums they are sucking you are all autistic HURR HURR HURR". These threads will probably be censored by the Happiness and Smiles act anyways. On the topic of the Happiness and Smiles act, it renders this discussion pretty much obsolete cause its wording suggests Stalin WILL censor threads that are harmful to HIS forums which he has put a lot of time and effort into creating. If you don't like that, leave.

There's no need to get all worked up. Personally I'm not really sure which is better, I just dislike the way you're going about it. Also, just by how you respond to criticism shows what a big fan of free speech you are, even when it is constructive. "If you don't like that, leave."

I'm not worked up. If I was worked up, you would know because I would be much insulting whoever I was worked up against, however I can see how you could make the mistake though, I have a very aggressive form of debating. Also, I'm not responding to criticism right now because Demondaze completely ignored my post and went on to needlessly attack Fey.
