I don't know if that DJ was a newsreporter or whatever so he might just be talking crap. I don't know how it goes in Hungary, but if something bad happens in a country, the news will report on that. They never say: 'this is bad but this, that and the other thing are good.' Nobody really cares about good things if it's not really new and the news would be to long. Good developments are interesting in countries with oppressed people (like Egypt).

In Hungary it's a bit different. I haven't heard anything about Hungary recently but the last things I heard was something involving the severe reduction of the freedom of press and freedom of speech.
So basically a country with freedom, member of the EU and stuff like that actually starts doing things against EU rules and limiting the freedom of the people in the country.

    Short answer:

1: A lot of people don't know anything about what a certain political term means.
2: It was probably in the news, reporting on a negative development in Hungary and they only report on the current development and maybe other developments like it.

The claim that your government is fascist is probably false, I don't know enough about it but I don't think they are fascist. The claim that your PM is a tyrant I can certainly understand and he is more tyranical than other European leaders but I don't think he's a tyrant.

I hope you understand it because I have no idea what I was talking about.

First off, why would you state that fascists act for benefit of their nation? I know that that's how it's supposed to work in theory, but they have destroyed every nation where they seized power in practice. I'm sure your government acts according to their own benefit, that's how it works here as well. That's how it works everywhere else, unfortunately.

Don't worry though, ddbb089, this happens all the time. We have our fair share of domestic idiots here like the fascists in the PVV which I'm sure you've heard from. Sadly it's generally the vocal minority that you hear from the most. I haven't heard any news about this at all, which means that it's probably blown out of proportion by the media in your country. I don't know anything about this guy, or your government for that matter, but I can't imagine it being fascist. That would've been in the news for sure.

I can't remember exactly what it was but the guy did severely reduce the freedom of press and freedom of speech.

The new media law's restriction were a double enged sword, becouse there was the restriction of some freedoms but the state now cannot ban any media network like it could before.

Can you dutch guys find anything about this radio broadcast thing?
Becouse I heard about it in a VERY biased hungarian news association.Oh also the radio DJ was called Prem Radhakishun or something like that.

All those things I said was supposed to be just a joke but for a non-hungarian it could have been just gibberish for you.But there aren't really much of great news for us these days. Our airlines went bankrupt, the media law,and the EU criticizing us.

I rarely listen to the radio, so I don't know who you're talking about exactly. I'll put the name you gave into Google, maybe it'll come up with something.

Wait, now I remember! He is an ass indeed. I found a website about the situation, I'll read through it.
Oh, I found an audio sample of the broadcast:
    http://premtime.ntr.nl/2012/02/22/moet-hongarije-uit-de-europese-unie/

I also found some Hungarian replies, which...well, let's say they weren't very positive. Some of these replies were downright ridiculous. While Prem continuously crosses the line (which if I'm correct he does constantly), and he gets put in his place by the first man who he speak with, the replies show about as much intelligence as his ramblings.

On a few points, the politicians agree with him, and on those points, procedures are still running.

I can definitely see how a broadcast like this caused a big uproar, though. However, all that's said is perfectly described with this reply I saw on the site:

Recently, more and more money is being cut off the education budget (while the fucking culture budget remains unchanged, as far as I know), and regulations are getting stricter. So, studying will get more expensive and harder.

As for exact cost, I'm not entirely sure, especially if you factor in all variables (as in the money student get from the government, free public transit during either weekdays or the weekend etc, book costs etc.).

Don't forget to get the most expensive stuff you can get. I'm sure it's the best.
