Travon Martin

So a few days ago, in Sanford Florida ( few miles away from where I live ) a neighborhood watch guy shot a black kid named Treyvon Martin. His exuse? He was walking very slow, wearing a hoodie, in the rain, with a suspecious item in his hand. The Redneck neighborhood ( George Zimmerman )watch guy followed him in his car for a while, then when he saw him take a shortcut, he raised his gun at him. The Kid felt threateneded and punched him. The guy then shot him with his shotgun from about 2 feet away. The suspicious looking item?

A candy bar and a fucking bag of skittels.

Now there is nothing wroung with being a neighborhood watch guy, if you can't meet the extremly low requirements to be on the douchebag police force and choose to be a pretend one, thats fine. Just don't fucking patrol the town in your car with a fucking loaded shotgun.

Its gotten very serious and alot of " black cougars " or whatever they are called are all over central florida and people have been compairing it the Emmit Till case back in the 1960's I belive. Whats worse is that Media are being really ignorant. One news reporter said-

" Hoodies should be illegal to wear. It makes you look suspicious and look like a gansta. They should ony be worn in the rain. "

I think you got some of your facts wrong, but whatever. Yes, young Trayvon was unfortunately murdered and his murderer has not comitted a crime. Very controversial indeed.

And Which facts are these.

Well, he had a can of Arizona Tea, not a candy bar. And the neighborhood watch guy was some kind of hispanic, not a redneck. Also, I think he used a handgun, not a shotgun. And it's Trayvon, not Travon. Just small stuff like that.

Also this is entirely speculation and the only people who know what actually happened is George and Trayvon.

George Zimmerman should be trialed for manslaughter. He is guilty of killing Martin in some form. That is all I will say on the matter at this time.

not to discount a few witnesses and trayvon's friend who was on the phone with him , and when george called the police and said he was going to follow trayvon even though they told him not too.

To be honest I think the new vid proves Zimmerman guilty...

Well he may be an important witness, but considering he could only hear trayvon and the gunshot... I guess he may could hear George a little bit.

Well we know for a fact we can probably win in court on man slaughter charges without a doubt, the problem is proving that he had murderous intentions (if he did not then it wasn't murder... although the bastard murdered him.)

the bit of the phone call I remember (they have the phone call on recording i think?) is that trayvon told his friend there was a guy following him. Don't know much more about the phone call.

I think it was just a nervous guy who shouldn't of had a gun on him. It was a tragic incident for sure but what I don't understand is that it got turned into a racial hate crime. All I've seen on the news is that Trayvon was shot because George was racist. How do you know he was racist? Did he yell racial slurs or did he say oh that kids bad because he's black on the 911 call? If this happened to a white kid it would be the same but without thousand people marches and 24/7 news coverage. My real beef with this is why is race always used in these cases it really takes away from the true story
