Im not saying its not. But I will never understand the reason why people feel like they need to get a girlfriend right after they get dumped or dump their old one. I dont see what is the problem people have with waiting to find a girlfriends they actually plan to be with for more than a month.

No, the only reason I go out with someone is because I make myself known. Does that mean by always being friendly? No lol. But I don't think having 3 girlfriends in that many months is too bad. I am planning on staying with this one for more than I month. But as most guys know, plans don't always come to frutition =P

I said more than a month. I've actually never left a girlfriend, and when I pick someone, I tend to think about the long term implications. I would love to stay with my girl for more than a year even. But, realistically, there is not bunch chance of that. My backup is someone who yes I will go out with afterward. Then again my backup (or actually both of them I haven't chosen one out of the two yet), are both the type I would be much more able to slide into a serious long term relationship with them.

Don't fall in love then.

How is that sad or pathetic? How could society have gone so low to the point where its considered pathetic to not have dated someone when you are only 16. He's still a sophomore in highschool. It's not like he's some 28 year old dead beat living with his mom. I fail to see how not having dated someone before you are 16 is sad and pathetic.

I meant that some people have self confidence because they go into a relationship knowing that they won't get dumped. Moreover, they will be prescribing the dumping.
