Well another controversial ad is hitting the web this political season. Watch Herman Cain ruffle the feathers of animal rights lovers everywhere.

So what does everyone think? Should Mr. Cain be getting all the hate, or is he truly guilty of animal cruelty?

The ad is being called, the new "Daisy".

I refuse to believe that there are such people that would be infuriated by the death of a fucking goldfish.

    I have lots of questions.

    1) Who do you think is actually gunna respond to this add?

    2) Did this cost you like $20 to make?

    3) Why the fuck did you kill a gold fish?

    4) Did you have to use the creepiest girl on the planet for this ad?

    5) Is this ad actually a trailer for the Ring 3?

    6) Why did you do an ad about the stimulus program now when it happened 4 years go?

    7) Why did you kill a gold fish?

    8) Isn't Herman Cain out of the race, is it normal for ex candidates to run ads when they aren't candidates anymore?

    9) Why does it look like this ad was filmed in a post-apocalyptic warzone?

    10) On a scale of 1-10 how much do you enjoy torturing small helpless animals?

First off let me say that it was a goldfish they don't live that long anyway, also we don't know if they killed it. Second the other video was one hell of an ad, "Vote Johnson or we will get nuked".

I don't give two shits about the goldfish, the thing would probably be dead a few minutes later anyways. That's what goldfish do, they die. However I do have a problem with using a little girl for an ad like that. You should not use children for political ads.

Herman Cain is exceptional. He is keeping this election going for as long as possible. He feeds off the attention people give him. It is uncommon for ex-candidates to so much as make public appearances for a solid few months. The most ex-candidates usually do is form a Super PAC to save money for future campaigns. I know Rick Perry has done that, but I'm not sure about Bachmann and Huntsman. Cain is blowing his cash now when he is still relevant. He could care less about Gingrich(the one he endorsed), its all about him.

While I doubt it'll cause the same outrage as "Strong" or whatever that other failed piece of shit was, but both show about the same level of intelligence.

I don't mind watching a fish die. It's not that difficult, and it isn't very sad, it is death after all, but it doesn't bring about a sick feeling in me.

So here's the bigger question. I assume we would all be outraged if it was a dog, or a cat. However when it's a fish no body blinks an eye. Why is that? Is it because the fish has less mental capability? Is it because it seems so different than us? Does it have less perceived value than a dog or cat? I think we can all agree that the fish is suffering, so what makes it's suffering of less value than another animal?

I feel that reason is that it's easier to connect emotionally with a cat or a dog rather than a goldfish.

Probably all of those, plus people kill fish all the time. I'm sure everybody here has killed a fish. And as Chelsea said they die fast anyway.

Speaking of that, we are doing a project where we have to see if our 2 goldfish we each got in science class can last 2 weeks with no food, some elodia, some duckweed, and a snail. One of ours already died in 3 days...
