Ok, Link, lets be serious here. I live in America. If I'm even somewhat intelligent then I'm gonna be well ahead of the game.

Frankly, I find at least 50% of this forums to be made up of ignorant assholes who enjoy trolling people over random insignificant things, for some notion of power over people they have most likely never met in their lives. And I hate how you guys pretend to be able to psychologically analyze and advise people based on YOUR conclusions. This is the internet. You will almost NEVER get the truth from people on here (or any other forums here). You will get a truth that is twisted (whether sub consciously or consciously I do not pretend to know). So, shut the fuck up and use these forums to seek advice (if you want) and share information and debate on that information. Do not pretend to know anything more than what you can prove. Keep people's religious/political views out of it. I know some of you are going to find this hard, but the forums are deteriorating as a good place to discuss things. And seriously Toast, do not EVER question someones psychological stability you stupid fucking asshole.

You seem to think that you are some sort of authority on what other can and cannot post on these, but the truth is, we can all post whatever we want. I also certainly wasn't pretending to know anything I can't prove, but you on the other hand, have basically proclaimed that the American population is almost universally stupid, which I don't think you can come anywhere close to proving, but more importantly, it makes it really odd that you want people to stop "trolling" or being assholes when you have just insulted hundreds of millions of people. Maybe this a sign your psychological stability should also be taken into question. You're certainly quite insecure about it, even going so far as to respond to Toast's legitimate criticism by calling him a "stupid fucking asshole".
And before you respond further, please try to control yourself.

I'm actually totally controlled. Toast didn't criticize my psychological stability, or my political views or religious views. None of these have ever been attacked because heres the other side of the coin, people shouldn't be idiotic enough to post without thinking. What i wrote there was a well thought out post i wrote over the course of an hour while taking time to make myself understandable (I tend to accidentally contradict myself a lot).

And yes, the majority of the American populace are not very educated. Is that their fault? No. The education system in America is terrible, of which I have proof considering our teachers teach us either outdated stuff or totally unproved theories. They suck. There are smart kids and adults, but for every smart person in America there are 5-10 that are dangerously ignorant. Not stupid. Ignorant. They have never been taught to think through things or think for themselves, they are more willing to take orders than give them. Most Americans think that we are the best country in the world and we have never done anything wrong. Frankly, it scares me. As I have half my family in England, I plan on moving there if events don't force my hand. And Link, sorry, but given your past behavior and posts, I really don't give two cents worth to your criticism. Or Toasts, for that matter.

This is a pretty sweeping generalization, and probably one that applies to far less people than you seem to believe. Also, can you really teach people to think for themselves? Wouldn't they still just be doing as instructed?

I assure you, my posts are consistently better than yours, not that it's relevant, as what we have posted in the past has nothing to do with discussion at hand.

This is not a debate about the American education system anyways, so lets leave that train of thought to be. I took so long writing the post because, as I admitted, I have trouble making myself clearly understood. I am much more at ease with fiction than nonfiction or opinion writing. That seems a bit biased, saying your posts are better than mine. I never said mine were better than yours. I simply do not value your criticism as many times in the past you have, either purposely or inadvertently, gotten way out of hand in criticizing people. And in response to one of your earlier posts, I do not regard myself as an "authority" of what we should post here, but frankly this thread had people attacking each other so much I couldn't help but suggest some guidelines. I mean, cmon, this is a forum, nothing we decide here will ever matter in our individual lives. So, stop getting so into it. And do not attack other people based on beliefs (religious, political, or otherwise) or their "Psychological stability". Which you can not be a judge over unless you have a lot more information about that person (know them in real life, have a detailed profile, etc.)

So, tell people what you think would be better, or what you think they should do, not what they can do, or will do.

From the guy who was insulting literally hundreds of millions of people just a short while ago because of their beliefs. The difference is, I don't have intricate knowledge of one person. You, on the other hand were making sweeping assumptions about millions of people with no evidence to support these claims, and no way to verify them.

I wasn't insulting them in their beliefs. Beliefs has nothing to do with intelligence level. Oh, and its starting to bother me that we keep saying hundreds of millions. There are around 300 - 350 million people in the states. Of those approximately 150 million are pretty smart (in my opinion). The rest have that knowledge. but choose not to use it.

Nonsense, there are plenty of constructive arguments that happen on the internet. You just have to look in the right places.

As much as it pains me to say, I would reckon that Link is one of the smartest kids on the forums. Calling him a troll and dismissing his opinions as dumb is silly, and shows a fundamental weakness in your own argument and character. If Link would cut his hair, I wouldn't hesitate to call him a bright kid.

The format of internet fora is actually very good for a decent discussion. While the internet does provide anonymity which can indeed turn people into incredible assholes, on the other hand it gives you plenty of time to think of a decent and well-constructed answer. Of course, a gaming forum isn't the best place for deep philosophical thought, but the format is still good.

The comment section on YT is indeed a terrible place. Heck, any comment section, for that matter. It has limited characters, and people are always keen to jump in and act like dicks.

When the only thing you can find wrong in his posts is him not using apostrophes correctly, then you really have no argument against him.
