I agree... The last couple minutes are a bit strange...

Wait, what? I thought the last two minutes were the ones that made the most sense. Before that, it's the usual pointing out of inconsistencies, wheras the last few minutes actually put out points that are sadly very true. That is, until you get to the part where the video turns into an ad.

The last couple of minutes to me seemed like he was calling Christians racist, and evil.

That's because the Bible tells them to. I find that he portrays the deeply fundamentalist thought quite well. Luckily, overall they are a minority among Christians as well. Especially in Europe, most Christians are very tolerant people. The US still has the Bible belt, but hopefully these people will come to their senses at some point and stop spewing out their disgusting hatred towards everything that doesn't follow their beliefs.

But the article points predominantly towards yes.

You have to know that the Romans were still the same people just a different religion and if I am correct Christians were still a minority in the population

Yes they were a minority. But when all the Pagans started to get persecuted and have their temples closed, they were not all to happy to serve the Roman army either.

Under Constantine, they were, but when his son took over, the persecutions began, and since then, they've pretty much been assholes.

Indeed, under Constantine. You probably never heard of the numerous crusades that happened in the medieval era? I am a Christian too, and I am ashamed that some Christian have done very bad things to other religions, but denying isn't the way to solve it.

ONLY under Constantine were Christians tolerant. The ancient Christians despised the Jews and Pagans. The medieval Catholics were just as bad if not worse. Ever hear of the northern crusades meant to wipe Paganism off of the face of the Earth?

Constantine converted to Christianity, but he did not make it the state religion... He only made Christianity legal... However Roman paganists weren't considered heritics until Theodosius's reign half a century later...

I thought you could only be considered a heretic if you were Christian to begin with.

Indeed. As far as I know, other Christian beliefs would fall under heresy, and pagans and other religious people would be heathens.

Nah, compared to Elagabalus... Theodosius was a saint! And apperently he is recognized as a saint by the Orthodox Church... And that's one thing that I don't like about the Orthodox Church... They've canonized rulers!

    Edit:

Oh, wait... He was the Roman Emperor who began persecuting all those pagans and made Christianity the sole legal religion of the Empire...

    What's wrong with canonisation anyway?

It's not the canonisation as whole, but that some controversial guys and maybe some women were canonized...

Disclaimer-this does not show my actual religious views of any heathen religions, I was just quoting medieval 2.
