In all seriousness which do you think is the correct term and why?

I have said this before, But I am of the Hispanic culture there fore I call Futbol (Soccer) and Football (Football) so i win automatically. Good Day.

Well sence I'm from the US I call it soccer, but the name football makes more sence because you use your foot more in soccer than you do in American Football.

Well, seeing as football is the literal translation of the Dutch word for it, I'll go with that. Also, is there any other place where it's called soccer other than the US?

That's funny because The majority of Americans call it Futbol....

It's bloody football, god damnit!

You see, 'Football' (the real, English sport) was named after the key components of the game, your feet, and a ball, (Hence, it is simply Football) you run with your feet, you move the ball with your feet, you kick the ball with your feet, the only person allowed to touch his hands with the ball is the goalkeeper.

In 'football' (the bullshit one) You use a 'ball', with your hands, which is in the form of an odd, non-spherical shape, which doesn't make it a ball. You run with the ball in your hands, you sustain major concussions whilst trying to go through a horde of sweaty disgusting faggots with giant shoulderpads that make them look retarded and the only time you use your feet, is to 'punt' the ball, or to run. Much the opposite of Football. So, I don't know where this came from, but, Americans decided that they'd keep the name of their sport, and instead, change the real Football, to Soccer. Now, this is obviously in spite of the English, the whole thing.

I say, we call 'American football' Soccer, it suits them more, and Football suits Football more. the name has a meaning to the sport, and 'American Football' is just bullshit nonsense brutality in the form of a sport, therefore, they should be named Soccer, or Rock 'em Soccer 'em.

Canada is the only other known country that uses it nationally. And the only other country (I think) that has a national 'American Football' association, it's called the CFL. (Canadian Football League)
