    Be quiet.

Christians kill the world. As well as Muslims. Religious people as a whole are solely responsible for the vast majority of conflicts in modern and past times. I'm well aware that it wasn't all good before Christianity, but it didn't exactly help, I think it heightened the situation. You can't tie Christianity to one message, that's stupid, but what I do know is that to be a "Christian" you have to "accept Jesus" or "be damned to hell for eternity". That's really all you need to know. There was plenty of "smiting" in the bible. I know that it's wrong to hate the ideology, I just hate Christians. I don't like Christians who try to deny that early Christians have had the "wrong idea" for a millennium to make themselves appear as a better people (Crusades and the Inquisition, for example).

Your confusing the backwards bible belt version of christianity with what the basic message was. You are right in that christianity is about excepting jesus, but the fundamental way that the bible teaches to do that is to practice what he did, helping the sick and the poor and those less fortunate then you, how can you claim that is a bad message. A dogmatic papacy and fanatics(people), are responsible for shit like the inquisition. Hell I am a fucking atheist, but it's because I don't see sufficient evidence that god actually exists, not because I blame religion for all the world's problems. Once again people are responsible, not an ideology.

Wait, so it's wrong to hate the ideology, but if you hate the people who follow the ideology for following the ideology your completely justified? I think you have it backwards. You supposed to dislike the ideology but say there's plenty of good Christians out there.
Why don't you just say you dislike Germans who try to deny that the Nazis had the "wrong idea"?

And when religions are annihilated, but the wars continues, who is to blame then. Man. All wars are the result of man twisting some issue or stance into a rallying point for personal gain. The sheer notion that a single ideology can cause the majority of the problems of the world is the most closed minded thing anyone can think. You just lie to yourself. You would rather place the blame on an entire section society rather then face the truth that people are just fucked up. You would rather close your eyes, click your heels three times, and whisper, "There's no place like home." then face fact and deal with it.

And I think that you are a hypocrite because:

You just hate people based on what they believe. Hmm...what does that sound like.

It sounds like some kind of ideology that wants to exterminate another because of its beliefs. Where have I heard that before? Oh yeah: it sounds like burned bread.

I really fail to see that any of Christianity's "teachings" (or indoctrination) can be respected when the faith itself is forced upon people and controls them by fear. There is a list of 10 things you cannot do. You go to hell if you don't convert. You die in a flood. I haven't read up on any of the inane babblings in the bible, but I have enough to get the general idea. It's silly and it makes people silly. I sometimes have to stand back and just think for a moment that a vast amount of our species devote their lives to an invisible man in the sky.

Very, very few. I hate what Christianity teaches. I hate Christian people in general. I think I have it down to a t here.

I do. I hate people who try to cover up their histories like it didn't happen.

People need an excuse. That excuse is religion. If we get rid of it, they'll have less of an excuse to beat the shit out of each other. I say that's worth a shot. I don't see how religion can't be blamed. Right now it's basically Muslims vs everybody else, it's hard not to see it, it's been that way for a long time, and I've seen it in the flesh. If nothing changed if religion was removed, at least we wouldn't have those fucking Mormons knocking on my door.

If that's hypocrisy, then I'm probably a hypocrite.

Out of the last 10 physical confrontations you have witnessed, how many were soley based in a dispute over religious beliefs?

About 5. Most of them were sectarian, or closely related to it. That being said, I don't normally go out on Saturday down the clubs, but I'd likely see more there. Using Britain as an example isn't useful to start with.

Toast, only the Bible-thumping evangelicals and other dirty Protestants will threaten you with hellfire. And it's the same people who have no developed theology, don't concern themselves with questioning their faith, and have no interest in apologetics. But they are not the majority of Christians.

Fine then, I believe that every single person in America is deserving of death because of the huge amount of damage that their governments have done to people. That remark is obviously unjust due to the fact that the population simply do not deserve that, Toast is saying that due to the actions of a person a millenia after the death of Jesus that he was a bad man. His reasoning is beyond stupid, so it classifies as spam as do most of his posts which means he should be given some form of punishment.
