Obama Administration to use foreign aid for gay rights agenda

This article tells us two things:

1. If foreign aid wasn't being politicized before, it will definitely be so now. Republicans are probably jizzing in their pants at this; not only is Obama going to keep spending money on foreign aid, but it's going to be spent on foreign fairies!

2. That Hillary does NOT look good in a ponytail.

Hillary has never looked good, I never thought it could be worse than it already is.

Anyway, I find it pretty interesting that the US is promoting gay rights in other countries when they can't even do so in their own country. How does that make any sense.

Good job and thank you, Obama. This is something that I am happy to see.

The only way I would support Obama is if he manages to get Iran to have gay rights.

Back to reality, I don't support spending foreign aid at all in the state the country is in right now. With the recession upon us, we need all the money we can get. And sending money to Myanmar isn't going to help our economic situation.

I wonder if this has anything to do with Nigeria new law banning homosexuality...to death, or Iran which has absoultly no gay people at all >.>

Holding money specifically for homosexuals, instead of every person, is not a very good idea to me. Rather than promoting rights to homosexuals, it may tend to give people the idea that if they act like a homosexual, that they will be given foreign aid. Rather than acting like the way they do every day, in need of foreign aid but not applicable for receiving foreign aid.

Sure, this is a good way to bring another reason to combat a 'tyrranical regime', but if this is the way it goes, than I don't think it's goals are going to be met.

Fucking Persians culture. Weirdly if you look at LGBT rights by country a good portion of them give rights to women to be homosexual but not men.

Actually the overwhelming majority are fine with gays having the right to be gay. Most of the opposition arises on the issues of marriage and adoption.

No, only a slim minority actually "hate" homosexuals. But many wouldn't advocate it, or pay for it.

I liked what New York did, where they allowed same sex marriages but didn't force religious institutions to allow it.

My state was the last state, if i recall to allow gays to be allowed to adopted children.
