    What would happen if Leon Trotsky instead of Josef Stalin became leader of the USSR. Would things have been the same? Would they be better? More importantly how would the USSR fair against Germany in World War 2 and would Stalin recieve the ice pick?

    Russia would have surrendered to the Germans. Stalin knew what it would take to win the war and was willing to have the russian people pay the price. Trotsky would have been to sentimental to the needs of the russian people and not the needs of the russian nation.

    Well I think that Trotsky would have joined the Allies pretty quickly if not then I totally agree that he would be done how long do you say e would've lasted without capitulation?

    I don't think that's possible. Ler is bad enough. I don't people could get much worse then him.
