    I think Charlie Chaplin had that kind on mustache first because if you look at Hitler in World War I.

    Also just a fun fact about Chaplin. During the era of McCarhyism, Chaplin was suspected as a communist. In 1952, Chaplin left the US for what was intended as a brief trip home to the UK, but the FBI revoke Chaplin's re-entry permit to the US.

    Well, it's safe to say that Chaplin was a socialist. He attended Socialist rallies, protests, and his movies had a very strong left-wing vibe to them. Fun fact: Albert Einstein was also a Socialist.

    I would say most likely Chaplin was, but according McCarthy everone was a Communist at the time.

    Einstein wrote a pretty interesting essay on socialism, though it's pretty outdated and has proven to be wrong. It's basically Marxism explained. (Why socialism?)

    Reminds me of this piece of US propaganda. Every time I watch it, I really feel it wasn't meant as a serious movie for adults, but more as a comedy movie for little kids.
