I don't know. It's been a few years since I last did some latin. I think featherless flying fire-breathing lizard bird dinosaur just doesnt tranlate very well.
True, but it's the name given to the species when they dug up the first fossils. At that time, they thought they were extinct lizards instead of reptiles.
Dinosaurs were reptiles. Their only offspring that's alive today are the birds, I think. None of them were lizards, though.
Not really offspring, I think. They did share an ancestor, but I don't think one came from the other.
