So Anonymous has issued a statement - A declaration of war against the US government. This isn't just another DDOS, or protest slogan - They are physically planning a revolution.

I'm not too well informed on the operation, but in short, the entirety of anonymous is supporting this - Considering that they claim 'Membership' in the millions alone in the US, I don't think this should be brushed aside.

Tying in with this, Occupy has announced a 'shadow government' recently, with elected representatives in each state. (I believe this was posted in a thread sometime last month, I'll try and find it)

I'd like to see what would happen when some of these punks were to have to stare down the barrel of a gun. This is just more BS.

You can't point a gun at anonymous, you can't do anything to them. Anonymous is not a club, it is an ideal, pointing a gun at anonymous is like pointing a gun at Islam. you can't do it, it does not physically exist. anonymous has the advantage, your government can give in, or suffer. There is no middle option.

Or trace anyone who affiliates themselves with Anonymous and arrest and punish them accordingly. I can't imagine they never left any traces in any of these attacks, nor can I imagine the US doesn't have the capacity to trace them down.

It's very easy to hide all evidence of hacking if you're smart.

I doubt it is, nor do I think you can hide all evidence. Especially considering Anonymous apparently having a lot of members. Once a few are caught, and Anonymous "heroically strikes back", traces are once again left behind.
Also, didn't they make personal information public? That should definitely leave some kind of trace.
Then again, I might be completely wrong here, I haven't been studying long enough for that, I guess.

Well they work by essentially blocking all incoming internet connections (except the landline internet of course), this basically puts you in the internet's version of having people in enfilade (military speak, being in cover but being able to kill your enemy). You can hack sites but they can't see you because the server can't connect with you.

Hmh, sounds interesting. Somewhere, something doesn't sound entirely right, but as I failed the subject that was about this kind of stuff (as in, connection stuff), that's probably just me.

Report it (using the feature) if you want but it's not good to actively insult others and then complain about insults. You've had quite a few reports on yourself.

    lol no it isn't

You people aren't Anonymous. You people actually care about politics. The whole point of "Anonymous" is to do hilarious shit. You're nothing but fedora-wearing idiots who post image macros. Get out of here with the whole "anon is lejun" shit.
