So I went onto Pedro's MineCraft server today to find out that my computer suddenly cannot possibly handle it. Naturally I used my amazing computer skills and cleared out my hard-drive (deleted like 15 GB of memory) and made sure I wasn't running any backround programs that would eat up hundreds of thousands of K.

And yet, whenever I boot up MineCraft Multiplayer I find that it places the equivalent of a metric shitton of weight on my CPU. So much that my computer just can't handle it and tends to crash MineCraft, or just make the game unplayable.

All other programs seem to take up an average amount of my CPU's power. Including MineCraft singleplayer. How do I fix this?
