Notch is a lazy sack of shit, and should just abandon the game. That way, the modders (people who make the game good) can sit tight and work their magic.
The base game is little more than a glorified set of legoes. Once you mix in mods, it becomes something much more palatable.

Haven't really played since before the survival update. Played way too much before the Halloween update and the game lost it's fizzle for me.
Try Mods they usually get people back into the game I would recommend the technic pack or try new Texture packs.
not really, with the added parts to the game since 1.9 and 1.8 and with the bits put in for the 1.00 version it has become a game. a real game with an ending
How so? Last time I checked all he added was some static, uninteresting villages and a worthless XP system.
All it does is add new things to craft or kill. Fundamentally it's still just a race to build a decent base, and find diamond.
I like how everyone completely glazed over the hunger bar and the fact that animals don't just respawn like they used to, you are limited to the ones that spawn initially, the only way there'll ever be more is if you breed some.
I just slaughtered like 15 pigs I will remember that next time, since meat isn't a renewable resource...
ive lost my touch with Minecraft, i get 10 mins in and i get super bored the mods are ok but if you have the Too many items mod it just feels alot more boring
