The Japanese daimyos are fun to play as, but he could play as a country like Austria. Austria is actually quite difficult to play as.

How so? They usually (Forgive my wording here) Rolfstomp the Hungarians and become the Holy roman Emperor very often, But then again, The beauty of EU3 is the differences between games. Theres like 4 Byzantium LP's on youtube.... Just saying.

You're almost always at war. You're right in the middle of everything. Your economy is unstable and you always have to juggle inflation because of the size of your armies. Your income relies a lot on gold mines, which just means more problems with inflation. Eventually you'll have to beat the shit out of the Ottomans, which is not an easy task, considering their cavalry wipes the floor with you.
Theres like 3 Variables that can make your game easier 1, Eating hungary 2, Eating venice/Italy 3, Become emperor Then your golden.
Hungary's provinces are dirt poor and you can't make much out of Venice until you core it. Have you ever seen every single nation in Europe simultaneously declare war on Austria? It happens every now and then.
You would not believe the time I spent raging on this save, but now it is finally over. Plus, absolutely no Europeans have colonized outside of North Africa. I could colonize California if I really wanted to. Or Australia. No nations are easy, this took me a month.
I didnt mean easy as in a Walk in the park I emant it as a nation that has a lot of Variables that "Could" make it an easier nation to play as, as opposed to Saxe-lauenberg.
