Introduction
Hello and welcome to the new world. The date is June 16th 2014, and the world has changed for perhaps the last time. After countless scientist combined their efforts to discover a 'universal cure', the cure for all diseases was discovered. The basic explanation is using a form of white blood cells which attack anything besides red blood cells. Using 1/5000000000 ounce of the new element Bacrium, the cells are enhanced to such a level, it is almost impossible to destroy them at a microscopic size. They decided to call it after the founder Dr. Fegrall and his 22nd batch, calling the cure F-22.
After the break through, the nations of the world gave out free shots to all the sickly, elderly and young. Of course not everyone was able to recieve it, nor was it free everywhere in the world. Cooperations and autocracies were strict in disturbution and the first shippment of these were limited. However a notable amount of the world had received a shot of F-22 (28% recorded). There were almost no side affects recorded and people lived life in ease. Finally a cooperation took the responsibility of distributing going by the name of Kealiance Co. Having a warehouse in every major city, the corporation easily distributed the drug to another 67% of the world by July 8th, 2014.
It want until June 10th did the first couple of cases began to leak through to news stations. Reports stated the drug killed brain cells and 'the soul'. A few hours after death, the corpse would stand back up and violently attack the closest person. If infected in key areas such as open wounds near the heart or head, the victim would experience a similar case and become 'a living dead'. By the end of the week, the majority of the first batch had turn into zombies. Governments recovered and only socialist countries had taken the brunt of the experience; however, the second batch of people had similar cases already devolping. Countries closed borders and tried to enforce peace among their citizens. It was no use and nations fell one by one. First France fell, followed by most European countries, North America, South America, and finally Asia... Africa was almost isolated from the problem and became the 'safe haven' for survivors...

Rules:
This is very similar to an RP; however it has a Dungeon and Dragons layout concept. I will be the Dungeon Master and you will be a band of misfit survivors! You've survived through impossible odds and can choose your fate (with my guidance. First choose a stereotypical character with a few descriptions (I.E. female secretary, 25, tall skinny anorexic blonde.). Please restrict to one single military member in each group and make sure these are realistic common people. I'm gonna try my best to make it fun for you, so you don't need to worry too much about strength or knowledge... Unless if theyre really out of shape. The Dungeon Master will assign you equipment then which is yours, and yours alone. (I.E. 1 backpack, 6 AA batteries, a kitchen knife, a first aid kit (small), and six instant noodle packs.
When a group of five people or more have been chosen, a main leader must be chosen. This leader will make the choices for the group and must be online to lead the group for the majority of the game. If a leader cannot be chosen, the most active member will be leader. Other member can still make their decisions but the leader (depending on the group's decision) can break ties or represent the group in conversation.
You can only control your character in game unless you are the leader with no one present or you are the main dungeon master (DM).
Once all done, the dungeon master can decide a location to plot them down in and have them develope a small background story if they wish. The dungeon master can start the scenario and the game can begin. If needed, a 2nd dungeon master can be chosen and fill in for the DM.

Your objective is to get to Africa with some supplies to set up a camp. The game shall be written in a 'script' format:

*Epiccheesegrater - Chief Inspector

Supplies - Police outfit, body armor, small backpack, revolver (6), 6 revolver rounds, tazer (100% energy), cell phone (100% energy), 2 hunting rifle rounds, enhaler (10 uses), walkie-talkie (100% energy), lunchbox with 2 strips of beef jerky, 3 oranges, a bag of carrots, a bundle of grapes, and a V8.

*Viking Socrates - College Slacker

Supplies - Regular clothing, wallet, normal baseball bat, large backpack, labtop (100% energy), iphone (80% energy), 2 binders, 100 note cards, writing utensiles, ear buds, pillow, large blanket, 3 energy drinks, a coke, and 8 instant noodles.

*darthdj31 - Previous Drug Addict

Supplies - Store clothing, coach shotgun (2 uses), 1 pack of chewing gum, medium backpack, a single 12-pack of twinkies, 3 large gatoraids, 7 large water bottles, 6 pack of beer cans, pack of cigeretts (18 uses), 10 bags of chips (crisps), a small bag of cocaine, and a small bag of marijuana.

*Vassilli1942 - Veteran / History College Proffesor

Supplies - Regular clothing, dog tag, Colt M1911A1 (7 uses), wallet, pencil, briefcase, world history textbook, 2 Colt rounds, dell laptop (100% energy), notpad, pen, lunch sack, apple, bag of chips (crisps), water bottle, and a veggie pack.

Zombie Dictionary (for in game slang you created):

I will be Vermin Supreme. I will be the stereotypical mad scientist, with the fucked up hair job, the creepy goggles and an almost limitless knowledge in a now useless subject: farming. Vermin Supreme is 58 years old with a minor case of arthritis which he treats his personally designed pills, using a mixture of the normal pills and LSD.

A question for you @Surfusa where will the groups be? Should each one start out on different continents?

No, common people fighting for a common cause in a group on the same continent. I have to ask though, could you be a nurse or doctor more than mad scientist? I know it doesn't sound cool but the group should be made up of regular jobs. However, if you really want to be a mad scientist that's fine too.

I'm Jimmy Macintosh a 21 year old slacker who only real concern before the "zombies" was sleeping in college classes. Athletically fit, black hair and blue eyes. Extremely lazy at times.

Yeah, but 2014 - 1969 = 45 and that would be the year he served. Also what subject would he be best with?
