I'm going to be attempting a challenge with some of my friends. These are the rules, and a rough description of the challenge. The challenge will be attempted for an indefinite period of time. One would notice upon walking around the world, a massive amount of ruins. Everything from small huts, forts, towers, and even whole cities. Along with these ruins, you'll often find that the area surrounding is more or less depleted of all basic resources. So, I was thinking, this would be the perfect setting for a post-apocalyptic type challenge. Basically, the game revolves around scavenging. Only very base resources may be crafted, and all buildings must be built on pre-existing ruins. Furthermore, no more than 1 farm time may be planted, for every member of the group -So scavenging for food is essential. No tunnels may be built, and no mass terraforming may take place. One tree may be cut down every 24 hours, per 2 people in the group. As was previously stated, no new building structures may be created - All building must be built on a pre-existing foundation/ruin. Trading with other groups is allowed, although the amount we are allowed to trade would be extremely limited. Furthermore, players may only use the ptp command once per 12-real hours, and may only teleport to participating members of the group. Nether portals may not be entered. Farming is allowed, although the number of animals allowed will be limited, depending on how many players are in the group. For every player, the group may have - 3 chickens, 2 pigs, 2 sheep, and one cow, furthermore, one tile of water must exist for each animal or person. And final rule - ALL items belonging to you in inventory, or private storage, must be disposed of in lava before you may join the challenge. That's all the rules for now, further edits will probably be made.
