I believe it would've been better if they had waited till it was 100% certain that he had turned then slam the saltlick on his head, such as pail skin, glazed over eyes, and starting to moan and rise eerily. Since these are slow zomies he would've had time to slam the brick on him before he got up. Kenny did make the right choice but alittle too soon.
